ADST in my Library
I really enjoy integrating play-based learning using the ADST curriculum. Whether it's coding, robotics, or STEAM, students are always engaged. It is so easy to embed different parts of the curriculum into these lessons and students don't even notice that they are learning.

Nicole B-R: Your mind map is full of great ideas that relate to the big ideas. What kind of materials would you have in free play to promote design thinking? Would you have themes within your materials maybe?
ReplyDeleteHi Nicole,
DeleteI think for free play the materials would be similar to classroom centres. Things like blocks, Lego, and things like that. But also things that could create provocations, like the bins you can get for story workshop. I've seen a lot that are nature based, such as animal habitats.
Hi Nicole, I'm curious to know what student-led learning would look like in your library. Any specific ideas or examples you have in mind?
